Head Admins may edit this page at any time to implement a ruling. Administrators require consensus from a majority of other admins, or the Head Admins, to implement a ruling.

Other ranks may not implement rulings, and should propose rulings to the appropriate persons.

This page serves to document major decisions/changes, or rule stipulations.

4 Validhunting as an AI The station AI must still follow its laws, but may be ordered to find or contain a crew member by security or command; the AI cannot apprehend or assault/kill a person they are ordered to find or contain themself. Non-crew antagonists may similarly be pursued or contained, but the AI is not beholden to crew-based laws. AI should avoid pursuing non-crew antagonists unless they are actively harming crew, where they may intervene. 31/12/2025 SamanthaFyre Head Admin Assault/kill conditions can be overridden by laws that permit such.

6 Do Not Interact (DNI) orders Do Not Interact (DNI) orders (between any player/staff) will no longer be created or enforced due to their fallibility, liability to get players and staff in needless trouble, and staff's unwillingness to meddle with interpersonal affairs between players. 7 Ban & high-severity note transparency All bans (role and server), and high-severity (red) notes will be made available to the public on the discord, with certain information censored. This will not be backdated, and guidelines are to be added to the staffing guidelines page. 05/04/2026 Talzion Head Admin Implemented following community and staff vote/discussion.
8 DM moderation & complaints All complaints and acts of moderation are now banned. Staff members must refer players to opening an adminhelp to voice their complaint, and must not investigate, take, handle, etc., any complaints via direct messages. 9 Implementation of Events team guidelines and a moderation-only channel Toaste (toastey/Toastewoofs) will write new guidelines specific to members of the event team (eventmins, head eventmins, trial eventmins) in regard to their duties, rules surrounding them and their use of power, and their participation in certain staff matters. A moderation channel accessible to only members of the moderation team (trial game moderators, game moderators, administrators, head admins) will also be made. 30/04/2026 Toastewoofs Administrator Approved by Aloraine, SamanthaFyre.
10 Reversion of Ruling #9 and alternative provisions Staff ruling #9, "Implementation of Events team guidelines and a moderation-only channel" is annulled, and instead, the rules on eventmin contributions are being gingerly relaxed.
