Nanotrasen, both on account of, and in spite of its hegemony has a very repetitive organizational structure. This has allowed Nanotrasen to minimize its carbon resources department (the inclusive name for Human Resources, as used by the Solarian Federation), and to cut corners when it comes to managerial staff. This had led to Nanotrasen being surprisingly balanced when it comes to width and height, and simplifies cross-department interaction..
Board of Directors (BOD)
The Board of Directors is the final stop in the Nanotrasen Hierarchy. A typical corporate structure, though with some added roles due to the breadth of Nanotrasen's rendered services. Each Chief Officer has a Vice President.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO): At the top of it all is the CEO. A very private and well-guarded individual, little is known about the current Nanotrasen CEO. While it is known to the public that they are a descendant of the Founder of Nanotrasen themself, the CEO typically stays removed from many decisions, and has historically referred all but the most critical decisions to the Advisory Council.
Chief Operations Officer (COO): The COO is responsible for the overarching, day-to-day business function of Nanotrasen's many departments. This role typically comes with a prescription for Nanotrasen's finest blood thinners. The COO is the highest-paid executive barring the CEO, and they play a key role in company strategy.
Chief Marketing Officer (CMO): The CMO is responsible for Nanotrasen's grander marketing campaigns, its branding, market positioning, and advertising. It was Nanotrasen's first CMO who developed the iconic Nanotrasen blue, still in use today.
Chief Financial Officer (CFO):
Chief Legal Officer (CLO):
Chief Technology Officer (CTO): The CTO works closely with its sister role, the CIO. The CTO is responsible primarily for the implementation and management of Nanotrasen's broad technology network, including vast networks of infrastructure.
Chief Innovation Officer (CIO): Sister role to the Chief Technology Officer, the CIO is responsible specifically for overseeing Nanotrasen's innovations. While principally the Research, and Engineering departments, the CIO is involved in any kind of pioneering toward the future.
Chief Communications Officer (CCO):
Chief Personnel Officer (CPO):
Chief Relations Officer (CRO): A company as large as Nanotrasen has required the creation of a unique role, the CRO. Responsible for relations between every race, species, political movement, and culture inside Nanotrasen's borders, the CRO does their best to ensure that cross-species and cross-culture engagements stay as cordial as possible, despite any differences.
Council for Advice to the Board of Directors (Advisory Council, or AC)
Somewhat unique to Nanotrasen is its advisory body, the Council for Advice to the Board of Directors, or more succinctly, the Advisory Council. While not legally binding to the Board of Directors, historical precedent since the company's inception has mandated then when the council puts forth an opinion, it is to be respected.
An outlier from the rest of the wider Nanotrasen organization is the structure of its Navy, and by extension, the High Naval Command. Viewable on its own page, due to its complexity.
