This is the most important section, everything in this section takes priority over anything you do.

At minimum, it is suggested to read these at least, in-case you plan on avoiding the rest.

0 - Usage of slurs

The usage of slurs, spreading of hate speech or bigotry is not accepted here, we are an open community to everyone, as such using slurs in public places within the server will get you in trouble.

Examples and exceptions.

Examples: 1 - Using slurs IC to offend another user. 1.1 - Using slurs L/OOC to offend another user. 2 - Casually saying slurs on public radios. 3 - Spreading hate speech. Exceptions: 1 - Using slurs in a private area between consenting players for ERP purposes.

What you do in a private, secluded area between consenting parties using anti-ghost subtler is okay, but usage outside of that is prohibited.

1 - Malice

Interacting with another player with the intent to harm their experience on our server and make their overall experience here worse, this includes using non-direct methods. If you are engaging in activities to put down another player you are likely violating this rule.

Examples and exceptions.

Examples: 1 - Harassing someone over their kinks. 2 - Meta-grudging a player from past actions, by killing them, griefing them or saying problematic things in L/OOC. 3 - Maliciously lying to staff in a ticket against another user. 4 - Preventing another user from playing the round without a good reason. 5 - Abusing bugs or exploits in a disruptive manner. 6 - If you dislike a kink or character, you do not have to interact with it/them, but this does not mean you can voice your distain IC or through L/OOC. 7 - Do not type-bait people, this is when you talk to someone knowing they will write a reply and whilst they are writing, you perform a hostile action against them. 8 - Size abusing, if your character is below half a tile, you cannot play as a combat role, this includes command, security and antagonists. 8.1 - Using size changing quirks/items to change size for mechanical advantage against another player.

This is an adult server, we expect you to behave as one, be able to reason and talk out your issues with other players and staff.

2 - Impact

Activities that impact the server or player base in a negative way, you are allowed to roleplay within reason, but if your actions start to impact the server or its players in a negative way instead of improving it, then you may be violating this rule.

Examples and exceptions.

Examples: 1 - Griefing the station without a valid reason. 1.1 - End of round grief (EORG) outside of the permitted area or too early. 2 - Creating server lag through the use of spawning mass mobs, items, liquid or gas.

Most cases can be solved through IC actions or through the use of L/OOC with the offending player if they are ruining your experience, if communicating fails, contact staff. On this server you are allowed to roleplay in a vast range and most things are allowed so long as they do not prove to be a detriment, avoid ruining the experience for everyone else.

3 - Safety

This is an 18+ server, you are expected to be an adult, any content that could be interpreted as violating the law or harmful towards the server is not to be discussed.

Examples and exceptions.

Examples: 1 - Violating Discords terms of service (ToS) or BYONDs ToS. 2 - Any sort of underage content, in any way, this includes content meant to get around underage content bans, such as characters meant to look underage but are adults. 3 - Bestiality with animals in-game that are real life animals.

If you are found to be underage, you will be removed from the community, if staff have evidence to suspect you may be underage, an age-vet ban will be applied to your account till you can prove you are of age.

Interactions with non-human (quadruped, feral or otherwise fantasy creatures) characters and mobs are fine, so long as the mobs do not resemble a real life animal and are distinct enough of such. (Ian bad, but fun claws ok.)
