Discord Rules

Server Safety Rules

1. You must be over the age of 18 to be a part of this Discord & Community.
2. You must follow discord Terms of Service.
3. Drama, harassment, witchhunting, and otherwise ruining the experience of the discord is forbidden. For example, harassment in DMs, bringing drama here from other servers, pinging people unnecessarily, raiding our server or other servers, or being excessively hostile to others.
4. Content that violates discord Terms of Service, or is principally illegal, is banned. This includes IRL underage, bestiality, and gore content. Drawn content of underage (shota, cub, loli) and drawn bestiality (feral) is also banned.
5. Do not use slurs or discriminate against people based on sex, ethnicity, race, nationality, gender, class, social status, political ideology, etc.

General Rules

1. Use channels for their designated purpose.
2. Do not spam the same/similar messages, including micspam in VCs and spamming images, gifs, copypastas, etc.
3. Do not send discord invite links.
5. Do not discuss things happening on the game server. This applies to all information of the current round, and is relevant to both text and voice chat.
6. Streaming is permitted, but metaknowledge should not be abused. Streamers are required to disable ghost vision and ghost ears when streaming the game server.
7. Do not cheat or hack through the use of unauthorized third-party modifications to byond/dream seaker.
8. Do not use, promote the use of, or publicize bugs/exploits. These should be reported on the github or in an ahelp via #open-ahelp
9. Do not impersonate staff or players. Changing elements of your profile in order to do so is liable to be met with your profile being forcibly changed, and your rights to change your server profile revoked.
10. English is the only permitted language on the discord and game server. Small exchanges (a few words) to compatriots who also speak your language is fine, but do not have conversations in non-English.
11. Do not copy or claim other people’s art or characters as your own.

Content Rules

1. IRL underage, IRL bestiality, and IRL gore content. **Drawn** content of underage (shota, cub, loli) and **drawn** bestiality (feral) is also banned.
   1. Fictional feral characters are permitted. For example, dragons.
2. SPLURT does not host IRL porn, and IRL pornography is disallowed.
3. Any extreme kinks (more extreme than vore, such as non-con, snuff, etc.) not posted in porn channels specifically made for them must to be spoilered and tagged appropriately.
   1. #general allows the discussion of NSFW content, but kinks more extreme than vore (gore, toilet play, etc.) should be posted inside of #unholy-general
   2. Non-vanilla pornography should be spoilered in #general
   3. #unholy-general permits all allowed kinks, but gore and scat should still be spoilered. Other content is not required to be spoilered.
4. Discussing politics, or sensitive current world events is forbidden.
5. Do not post AI art outside of the AI art channel (#ai-art)

AdminHelp/Ticket Rules

1. Be honest when making a ticket, regardless of the complaint or query. Subversion or deception is not tolerated.
2. Always have proof ready when you make a report, and be as descriptive as possible. This can include things like logs, screenshots, dates, round IDs, character names, ckeys, etc.
3. Do not spam the ticket system. If your ticket is handled, and you are unhappy with the outcome, you are welcome to open a new ticket to contest the decision as per the staffing guidelines (viewable here: <https://wiki.splurt.space/Staffing_Guidelines>). If your contest is rejected, you may not open another ticket on the matter.
4. Ticket information should stay in the ticket. You may not discuss information in an active ticket via DMs or in the discord.
5. Complaints about how a ticket has been handled should follow rule 3.
6. You are welcome to make a discord ticket if your AdminHelp in-game went unanswered or you were dissatisfied with the result.
7. Staff complaints must also be raised in a discord ticket via #open-ahelp. SPLURT no longer handles any complaints or moderation via Direct Messages, and you must make a ticket for any queries or concerns.
